British has setup the rule to take care of old parents by paying all their expenses by the government but the question arises, is it the right way to take care of someone’s parents? or, their should be some other setup for the responsibilities of old parents.
As per my knowledge, there are many other countries too who have develop different old-age home or second home for their old parents.
However, children should understand the struggle of their parents when they nurtured them during their childhood. How they develop them by facing all the hurdles and bear all the expenses of their children. Similarly, children should not send them to any kind of old-age home rather take care of them by theirselves because they know the nature and requirements of their parents.
Moreover, there should be a funding system by the government for those who cannot afford the expenses and send funds at their homes rather than some old-age home because children can better take care of their parents as compare to nurses. Nurses will treat all the parents in the same way but own children will treat their parents according to their needs.
Additionally, If parents will live in their own house they can busy themselves in different home activities which keeps them active. For instance, gardening, reading some good books and play with their grand-children.
Beside these, parents become depressed due to lack of attention by their offspring and they are empty inside. They began to think that they are burden over them and irritates them. Whereas, they had suffered a lot during the up-bringing of their children.
In lights of these facts, one should take care of their parents by themselves rather than sending them in other house in hands of nurses. They must understand the fact that they are their parents and its their responsibility to fulfill all the requirements of their parents.
